Going for a hike along the Munsungan Lake Tote Road will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Hiking along the Millinocket Lake Tote Road is magnificent fun; if you want to hit the beach, Gilman Beach is in the neighborhood. The amount of precipitation that falls at Boody Pond is close to the national average; the month with most of the rain is July; February is when       it's the driest. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Boody Pond, and the overnight is a tad chillier of course, frequently in the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are generally in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Boody Pond. A lake close by is Isthmus Pond, and if the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the Matagamon Tote Road. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Munsungan                  Stream, and you can stay the night at Umcolcus Sporting Camps. Yep, outdoors enjoyable stuff to do are really plentiful here at Boody Pond. Jones Pond is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and Matagamon Wilderness Campground is a wonderful campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
