There's so much to do here at Boody Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Five Seasons Campground is a magnificent place for that; Titcomb is a perfect local ski area. Boody Pond is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Laurel is a magnificent local campground, and one of the governing traits of the surroundings of Boody Pond is Berry Hill. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. A brilliant nearby hotel is Comfort Inn & Suites,

| | and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby Kimball Pond. The slopes of Eaton Mountain are so inviting noone can resist; get yourself into a kayak and hit Wilson Stream. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Winthrop Motel is a brilliant choice, and close by you discover the Appalachian National Scenic Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail. all through November this area sees the most rain while February is ordinarily the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Boody Pond, you'll come across McIntire Pond which is a picturesque lake. All through the
warm months, highs commonly are in the 70's at Boody Pond, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are frequently in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Boody Pond. Get soaked paddling on Sandy River, and there are plenty of folks from Augusta-Waterville here.

Eaton Mountain
 | 20 miles away 3 PHOTOS Eaton Mountain provides affordable and convenient skiing, snowboarding, and snowtubing to the greater Waterville/Skowhegan area. The mountain boasts a suprising variety of terrain for a compact ski area including glades, challenging steeps, and classic New England style trails. Most of the area is covered with snowmaking and is lit for nightskiiing. Equipment rentals and lessons are available. The base lodge has a snackbar and provides a place to warm up by the wood stove and meet friends. The ski area has new owners as of November 2008 and will not be operating for the 2008-09 ski season. The new owners will be taking the time to make improvements and prepare for a grand reopening in the fall of 2009. Immediate improvements are planned to include an all new snowtubing facility and widening of the Moose slope for a new terrain park.
