Get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Spencer Stream, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Bald Mountain Trail. Bog Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Jackman Trading Post is a good local campground; there's whitewater on Little Spencer Stream for all you thrill seekers. A day on the slopes of Sugarloaf USA is just what you need, and Boulder Pond is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. Summertime highs

| | at Bog Pond generally tend to be in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Bog Pond. This lake is so wonderful. to Bog Pond. A visit to Bog Pond wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Spencer Rips, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Alder Brook Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Sally Mountain
Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and a swamp like Number Five Bog next to Bog Pond has lots of out of the ordinary things to see. The annual rainfall here at Bog Pond is about average; July is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is February.
