If only every spot had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great globe it would be. There are great sites to look at along the Alder Brook Trail; get your pulse rate up on the brilliant whitewater of Spencer Stream. This lake is so wonderful. Spencer Rips is always fun to check out. There is a nice hiking trail close to Bog Pond called the Sally Mountain Trail; camping at Bog Pond is magnificent fun, Loon Echo Campground is       a magnificent local campground. Sugarloaf USA is a very popular ski area in the vicinity. Lakes are fine; Attean Pond is a lake that's close to Bog Pond. There's whitewater on Little Spencer Stream for all you thrill seekers, and Jackman Landing Campground is a good campground here. Going for a hike on the Bald Mountain Trail is always a good adventure, and dry warm beds await you at Jackman Hotel. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Bog Pond, and                  the overnight is a bit cooler of course, usually in the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Bog Pond. From a rainfall point of view Bog Pond is a relatively common site; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain; February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
