Be careful coming to Bog Pond, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Burrill Hill is clearly visible from Bog Pond, and there are some nice whitewater spots on Wesserunsett Stream. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Bog Pond, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs       are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Bog Pond are in the 0's. Bog Pond is a wet place that gets much rainfall; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily July, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest. Black Stream is in close proximity to Bog Pond and is always a joy to go to. This lake is so wonderful. The snow is magnificent at Eaton Mountain. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Bog Pond                  has to offer, you can camp at Skowhegan/Canaan KOA. Dry warm beds await you at Pittsfield Motor Inn. There's so much to do here at Bog Pond that you need to camp here for a while, K O A Kampgrounds is a great location for that.
