If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn & Suites is a good choice; going for a hike along the Piazza Rock Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Sugarloaf USA; Bog Pond is a great location to visit for more than one day, Dummer's Beach is a great location to camp nearby. Bog Pond is a good site of normal rain; most of the rain falls all       through August, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. On a brilliant day at Bog Pond you can take a hike along the Chimney Trail, and after a long day outdoors Wilson Lake Inn is a great place to spend a night or two. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Bog Pond has to offer, you can camp at Crocker Mountain Cirque Campground; there are some delightful whitewater spots on Orbeton Stream. You could also stop by                  Adley Pond if you're here at Bog Pond; it's nearby, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Sandy River. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Toothaker Pond, and if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Brook Trail. Throughout the days of summer, highs generally are in the 70's at Bog Pond. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Bog Pond. Be careful coming to Bog Pond, you might not ever wanna return back home again.
