If you like lakes and you're in this part of Maine you can check out Bog Pond. Bog Pond gets a common amount of rainfall; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is February. Dry warm beds await you at Grand Summit Resort Hotel, and camping at Bog Pond is nice fun, Dummer's Beach is a nice local campground. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Bog Pond. and Saddleback is a magnificent local ski area. This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of Sugarloaf USA are so inviting noone can resist. Summertime highs at Bog Pond usually tend to be in the 70's, and the nighttime is a bit cooler
of course, mostly in the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are regularly in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Bog Pond. Some close by water includes Conant Stream, and going for a hike along the Piazza Rock Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region.
