The slopes of Mount Abram are so inviting nobody can resist, and Pleasant Mountain Inn is a great spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. The vista of Summit Hill from Bog Pond is delightful, and dry warm beds await you at The Bethel Inn Resort. This lake is so wonderful. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Biglow Swamp is right close by; a pleasant location for whitewater paddling is       Crooked River. If the weather is delightful here at Bog Pond, you can go for a hike along the Albany Mountain Trail, and Shawnee Peak is a great local ski area. Bog Pond is a wet spot that gets a good deal of rain; all through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is September. While you're here at Bog Pond you can take a hike along the Albany Brook Trail, and Bog Pond is a good place to visit for more than one day,                  Vacationland Campground is a good place to camp nearby. Summertime highs at Bog Pond typically tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Bog Pond sink into the 0's. This place is peerless, just check out all the enjoyable things to do close to Bog Pond. If you're a golfer then a nice nearby course is Norway Country Club.
