Bog Lake is a lake worth visiting. If you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Hobart Stream; why not go to a swamp like MacElroy Heath while you're here at Bog Lake. All through the months of summer highs here at Bog Lake get into the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Bog Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights.

| | Bog Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; November is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is July. Camping at Knowlton's Seashore Campground is always a great experience, and there are other locations here than Bog Lake, for example Long Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
