     You'll stumble on a beautiful lake called Alligator Pond near Boardway Ponds, and the skiing at Big Squaw is pleasant. If you need a site to stay Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a fine choice, and if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pleasant River - East Branch. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Boardway Ponds you can take a hike along the Gulf Hagas Trail. There's so much to do here at Boardway Ponds that you  
   need to camp here for a while, Frost Pond Campground is a brilliant place for that. Going for a hike along the Number Two Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and since you're here, you could also pop by pretty Seventh Roach Pond.
This lake is so wonderful. Boardway Ponds is great enough to spend more than a day at, Jo-mary Lake Campground is a great local campground, and a pleasant view of pretty Big Boardman Mountain is available.
 
               What a location this is for outdoors folks. Hiking along the Auburn Log Hauling Road is magnificent fun; a great location for whitewater paddling is Nahmakanta Stream.
The annual rain here at Boardway Ponds is about average; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. All through the summer months here at Boardway Ponds, high temperatures generally reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are frequently in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Boardway Ponds.
