If you come at the right time of year, Nesowadnehunk Stream River offers some brilliant whitewater, and Wadleigh Bog is an exciting swamp right next door to Blunder Pond. An average amount of rain falls at Blunder Pond; most of the rain falls through July, and the driest month is February. Drift down the rapids of Webster Brook in a kayak, and don't leave Blunder Pond without first going for a hike along the Freezeout Road. This lake is so wonderful. Chimney

| | Pond Campground is a magnificent local campground, and there's pleasant hiking along the Old Pogy Road. There are other sites here than Blunder Pond, for example Lost Pond. At Blunder Pond during the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are generally in the 20's with temperatures at Blunder Pond dipping down into the-10's through winter nights. You definitely have to fancy | |

Blunder Pond. Lakes? Sure, Hudson Pond is around here; Econo Lodge Inn & Suites is a great place to get some rest. Why not camp at South Branch Pond Campground since you're here at Blunder Pond; great hiking is available along the Eagle Lake Tote Road.
