Blood Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Paddling on Big Black River is so much fun; Cunliffe Brook is one of the streams nearby that might be worth checking out. The yearly rainfall here at Blood Lake is about average; most of the rain falls all through July, and February is the month with the least moisture. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Depot Stream.
