Blood Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Summer at Blood Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Blood Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Depot Stream, and it's a good idea to stop at Cunliffe Brook.

There's whitewater on Big Black River for all you thrill seekers, and after a long day outdoors Cross Rock Inn is a fine spot to spend a night or two. | |
