Dry warm beds await you at University Inn Academic Suites, and Orono Waterworks Dam is delightful. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Peaked Mountain Trail, and soar down the rapids of Stillwater River in a kayak. Red Barn RV Park is a pleasant campground nearby; in the neighborhood of Blackman Stream you find a golf course called Hidden Meadows Golf Course. If you need a site to stay Best Western Black Bear Inn & Conference Center is a brilliant choice, and a pretty lake like Blackman Stream is a magnificent place to have a look at.
