Martin Stream is right next door to Black Pond and is always a pleasure to visit, and not far from Black Pond you'll find Mud Pond which is a beautiful lake. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Residence Inn Auburn, and you get a good panorama of Gauthier Hill from here. Spend the day on the beach at Auburn Municipal Beach if you're here at Black Pond, and you're sure to encounter some wonderful folks from Lewiston-Auburn here. You just can't

Camping at Bear Pond Campground Fun Park is always a brilliant experience; Nezinscot River - West Branch has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by. is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Frog Pond, and Black Pond is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Martin Stream Campsite is a delightful local campground.
The high level of rain makes Black Pond a reasonably wet spot; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest month of the year is February. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Nezinscot River, and Lost Valley has tremendous slopes and a friendly staff.
