This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Residence Inn Auburn, and you get a good panorama of Gauthier Hill from here. Spend the day on the beach at Auburn Municipal Beach if you're here at Black Pond, and you're sure to encounter some wonderful folks from Lewiston-Auburn here. You just can't       envision the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area right next door to Black Pond has to offer. Camping at Bear Pond Campground Fun Park is always a brilliant experience; Nezinscot River - West Branch has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by. If you need a place to stay Travelodge Lewiston is a good choice, and you don’t have to go far from Black Pond to catch a glimpse of the water at Turner Dam. At Black Pond throughout the days of summer                  highs are in the 70's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are frequently in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Black Pond temperatures plunge to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Frog Pond, and Black Pond is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Martin Stream Campsite is a delightful local campground. The high level of rain makes Black Pond a reasonably wet spot; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest month of the year is February.
