    A visit to Black Pond is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Residence Inn Auburn, and there are some perfect whitewater spots on Nezinscot River. If you came to camp Bear Pond Campground Fun Park is a great place to do that; Lost Valley has wonderful slopes and a friendly staff. Black Pond generally gets a lot of rain; the month with most of the rain is November; the driest month of the year is February.
There's so
 
   much to do here at Black Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Martin Stream Campsite is a perfect site for that, and as expected Martin Stream flows through this neighborhood. Enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Auburn Municipal Beach, and the scenery at Turner Dam is gorgeous. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Black Pond. Gauthier Hill is a peak you can observe from Black Pond; Black Pond is not far at all from Lewiston-Auburn.

               is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Mud Pond is in close proximity to Black Pond, and naturally, this is a good vicinity for folks who like lakes, Lake Auburn is a lake close at hand. If you need a location to stay Econo Lodge Auburn is a great choice, and there's whitewater on Nezinscot River - West Branch for all you adrenaline rush seekers. At Black Pond through the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's; night lows in the 0's for Black Pond.
