You'll discover a pretty lake called Embden Pond near Black Hill Pond, and there's splendid hiking along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Herbert Grand Hotel, and a brilliant site to camp here at Black Hill Pond is Happy Horseshoe Campground. An average amount of rainfall falls at Black Hill       Pond; the month of November is the wettest with most of the snow, and the driest month is February. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff next to Black Hill Pond. Very wonderful scenery and magnificent skiing is what you get at Eaton Mountain, and camping at Gilman Pond Campground is always a splendid experience. This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water close by, Hancock Stream is a stream you can check out during your stay; great                  hiking is available along the Arnolds Trail. Bingham Motor Inn is a nice site to get some rest, and what would winter be without some skiing at Titcomb. While you're here at Black Hill Pond, you could also go to delightful Hancock Pond; if you come at the right time of year, Sandy Stream offers some delightful whitewater. Throughout the long summer days at Black Hill Pond temperatures are generally in the 70's while night lows are mostly in the 50's.
