Hiking along the Fire Warden Trail is perfect fun, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Enchanted Stream. Have a fine hiking adventure along the Bigelow Range Trail, and Enchanted Outfitters & Lodge is a good local campground. A normal amount of rainfall falls       here at Black Brook Pond; the wettest month of the year is mostly November, that's the one that snows the most, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Black Brook Pond is right by the Arnolds Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Dead River offers some great whitewater. During the summer, highs usually are in the 70's at Black Brook Pond. Summer night lows descend down to the 50's. During the winter this place                  gets highs in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Black Brook Pond temperatures descend to the 0's.
