This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Sweets Trail; Tuttle Pond is a nearby lake that you could explore. All the outdoors cool things right next door to Bishop Pond will keep you coming back again and again. The slopes of Bigrock are so inviting noone can resist; Crown Park Inn is a good place to get some rest.       High temperatures at Bishop Pond through the days of summer are in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. All through the winter highs are commonly in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Bishop Pond are in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Shiretown Motor Inn. There's so much to do here at Bishop Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Arndt's Aroostook River Lodge and Campground is a magnificent place for that,                  and Aroostook River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. If you came to camp Neil E Michaud Campground is a splendid place to do that, and do stop at Lake Christina Dam while you're here. The yearly rainfall here at Bishop Pond is about average; August is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
