Why not go to close by Bogg Brook since you're here at Bird Pond, and Cobble Hill is clearly visible from Bird Pond. After a long day outdoors The Perennial Inn is a splendid location to spend a night or two, and camping is available at Two Lakes Camping. From a rainfall point of view Bird Pond is a quite typical       place; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Near Bird Pond you discover the Albany Brook Trail which is a good hiking trail, and why not go to Pennesseewassee Lake Dam while you're here. An afternoon playing golf at Norway Country Club is always a bliss, and why not camp at Vacationland Campground since you're here at Bird Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There are                  other sites here than Bird Pond, for example Pennesseewassee Lake, and everyone nearby loves skiing at Shawnee Peak. Going for a hike on the Albany Mountain Trail is always a glorious adventure, and not far from Bird Pond you'll locate Paine Pond which is a gorgeous lake. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do next to Bird Pond. If only every site had this much outdoors cool things, what a great globe it would be. If you need a place to stay Pleasant Mountain Inn is a tremendous choice, and if you like swamps you're in luck, Witt Swamp is right close by. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Bird Pond. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's.
