    In Maine there are many beautiful lakes, Bird Pond is one of them. The amount of rainfall that falls at Bird Pond is close to the national average; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Witt Swamp is a swamp near Bird Pond; whitewater paddling is pleasant on Little Androscoggin River.
This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Bird Pond that you need to camp
 
   here for a while, Two Lakes Camping is a great location for that, and from Bird Pond you obtain a fine sight of Cobble Hill. Bird Pond is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Vacationland Campground is a brilliant local campground, and the slopes of Shawnee Peak are so inviting nobody can resist. This is no location for people who don’t like to have fun. On a fine day at Bird Pond you can take a hike along the Albany Mountain Trail, and after a long day outdoors  
               The Perennial Inn is a magnificent spot to spend a night or two.
An afternoon playing golf at Norway Country Club is always a pleasure, and everyone close by loves skiing at Mount Abram. Dry warm beds await you at Pleasant Mountain Inn, and an out of the ordinary thing to go to in the vicinity of Bird Pond is Pennesseewassee Lake Dam. While you're here at Bird Pond you can take a hike along the Albany Brook Trail, and some of the water close by flows, like Bogg Brook.
During the warm months at Bird Pond temperatures are generally in the 70's, and the nighttime is slightly cooler of course, frequently in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Bird Pond are in the-10's.
