Paddling on Little Androscoggin River is so much fun, and why not have a look at Pennesseewassee Lake Dam while you're here. Bird Pond gets a normal amount of yearly rain; August is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Bird Pond is not the only spot nearby, Pennesseewassee Lake is a nearby lake; you can stay the night at Vacationland Campground.       Hit the slopes at Mount Abram close by, and some of the water close by flows, like Bogg Brook. You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Bird Pond is a perfect site to visit for more than one day, Two Lakes Camping is a perfect site to camp nearby; dry warm beds await you at The Perennial Inn. You simply should love Bird Pond. Golf can be played at Norway Country Club; if you get bored of Bird Pond you could also stop by nearby Paine Pond. If you need                  a spot to stay Pleasant Mountain Inn is a great choice, and Bird Pond is right by the Albany Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. From Bird Pond you obtain a brilliant sight of Cobble Hill, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Shawnee Peak. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Albany Brook Trail, and Witt Swamp is an out of the ordinary swamp next to Bird Pond. Throughout the months of summer at Bird Pond highs are typically in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's.
