     Stay the night at Jo-mary Lake Campground; Birch Ridge Ponds is not the only spot close by, Yoke Ponds is a close by lake. An average amount of rain falls at Birch Ridge Ponds; July is the wettest month with most rain while February is usually the driest month. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Big Squaw is in the vicinity of Birch Ridge Ponds; Frost Pond Campground is a great campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Have a wonderful hiking adventure along  
   the Number Two Trail, and if you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Nahmakanta Stream.
This lake is so wonderful. Pleasant River - East Branch has a splendid whitewater paddling spot close by, and a pleasant nearby hotel is Lodge at Moosehead Lake. At Birch Ridge Ponds all through the summer highs are in the 70's, and the nighttime is a tad colder of course, commonly in the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs
 
               in the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Birch Ridge Ponds temperatures sink to the-10's.
Going for a hike along the Auburn Log Hauling Road will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and if you get bored of Birch Ridge Ponds you could also pop by nearby Spruance Pond. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Birch Ridge Ponds. While you're here at Birch Ridge Ponds you can take a hike along the Blue Trail; on a delightful day you get a magnificent vista of Little Boardman Mountain from Birch Ridge Ponds.
