and the sight of pretty Buck Cove Mountain is fine. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Narraguagus River, and Birch Harbor is very near and is a good site to pop by. Be careful coming
to Birch Harbor Pond, you might not ever want to go home again. There's tremendous hiking along the Alder Path Trail, and a pretty lake like Forbes Pond is a splendid spot to check out. This lake is so wonderful. If you're a golfer
then a great nearby course is Grindstone Neck Golf Course, and a tremendous site to camp here at Birch Harbor Pond is Flanders Bay. If you need a spot to stay Bar Harbor Inn is a glorious choice, and Abijah Ledge is a fine place to stop by.
