You can run the rapids of Piscataquis River - East Branch in close proximity to Big Squaw Pond, and camping at Northern Pride Lodge and Campground is always a wonderful experience. At Big Squaw Pond all                  through the summertime months highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's.
