     There's nice hiking along the Blue Trail, and naturally, this is a great neighborhood for people who like lakes, Spruance Pond is a lake around here. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Auburn Log Hauling Road, and in the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Nahmakanta Stream. Don't leave Big Pleasant Pond without first going for a hike along the Number Two Trail, and probably you're looking for nearby  
   lakes? Sure, Little Pleasant Pond is just a very short distance away.
Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things close to Big Pleasant Pond. If you need a place to stay Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a perfect choice, and stunning scenery and good skiing is what you get at Big Squaw. If you came to camp Jo-mary Lake Campground is a good site to do that, and from Big Pleasant Pond you obtain a great vista of Little Boardman Mountain. Big Pleasant Pond is a good

Pleasant River - East Branch has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot nearby. There's so much to do here at Big Pleasant Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Frost Pond Campground is a great spot for that.
