It's always fun to stop by Big Mucalsea Pond. Seboomook wilderness Campground is a nice campground here, and a tremendous place for whitewater paddling is Baker Branch. Dry warm beds await you at Chalet Moosehead Motel; you can run the rapids of Penobscot River - West Branch. Big Mucalsea Pond gets a normal amount of rainfall; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. There
