High temperatures at Big Island Pond all through the months of summer are in the 70's. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally                  in the 20's while Big Island Pond overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the-10's. Going for a hike along the Arnold Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and the slopes of Saddleback are so inviting nobody can resist. This lake is so wonderful.
