Have a fine hiking adventure along the Big Squaw Mountain Trail, unsurprisingly you could also visit Trout Pond while you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. So many fun things in the vicinity of Big Indian Pond, completely unbelievable. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Kennebec River - West Outlet; dry warm beds await you at Bingham Motor Inn. A normal amount of precipitation falls here       at Big Indian Pond; the month with most of the rain is July, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Round Pond is in close proximity to Big Indian Pond, and a brilliant place to camp here at Big Indian Pond is Northern Pride Lodge and Campground. High temperatures at Big Indian Pond during the days of summer are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs                  are in the 20's while Big Indian Pond overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the-10's. Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a good place to get some rest, and going for a hike along the Intake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Why not camp at Casey's Spencer Bay Campground since you're here at Big Indian Pond, and Trout Pond Mountain is clearly visible from Big Indian Pond.
