     Penobscot River - North Branch has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot nearby, and a lake close by is Upper Dingley Pond. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff at Big Grenier Pond. If the weather is good here at Big Grenier Pond, you can go for a hike along the Sally Mountain Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Big Grenier Pond has to offer, you can camp at Jackman Landing Campground. Big Grenier Pond gets  
   a common amount of yearly precipitation; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain; February is when it's the driest. Have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Bald Mountain Trail.
