This lake is so wonderful. Big Greenwood Pond is a wonderful site to visit for more than one day, Balsam woods Campground is a wonderful site to camp nearby, and a great site for whitewater paddling is Big Wilson Stream. Big Greenwood Pond gets a common amount of precipitation; most of the       rain falls throughout July, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Midday Pond is a nearby lake that you could have a look at; hiking along the Northwest Ridge Road is perfect fun. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Gulf Hagas Trail. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Big Greenwood Pond. At Big Greenwood Pond you can make out Boarstone Mountain, and why not head up to Big Squaw and                  strap some skis to your feet. Some nearby water includes Bear Pond Brook; Big Greenwood Pond is right by the Number Four Mountain Trail. While you're here at Big Greenwood Pond, you could also visit striking Sunrise Pond, and a visit to Beetham Swale revives the soul. Wildwood Shores Campground is a perfect local campground, and a nice close by hotel is Pittsfield Motor Inn. At Big Greenwood Pond during the summertime highs are in the 70's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's.
