This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a pleasant choice. Lakes are glorious; Little Fisher Pond is a lake that's right next door to Big Fisher Pond. There's so much to do here at Big Fisher Pond that you need to camp here for a while,       Frost Pond Campground is a good place for that, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Pleasant River - West Branch. There are glorious places to discover along the Blue Trail; let's not forget Caribou Brook which is a stream that you may stumble upon during your stay. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime highs at Big Fisher Pond mostly tend to be in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are regularly in the                  20's with temperatures at Big Fisher Pond dipping down into the-10's during winter nights. The annual rain here at Big Fisher Pond is about average; the month with most of the rain is July while February is mostly the driest month. Econo Lodge Inn & Suites is a glorious place to get some rest, and you can hit the slopes at Big Squaw nearby. Any time is a brilliant time at Big Fisher Pond if you like the outdoors.
