     Maine has many beautiful lakes and Big Brook Lake is one of them. A visit to Dead Horse Gulch is always fun, and if you come at the right time of year, Musquacook Stream offers some wonderful whitewater. Stay the night at Lakeview Campgrounds, and you're possibly interested in lakes, Mink Pond is one of those close by. An average amount of rainfall falls at Big Brook Lake; throughout August this area sees the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest  
   month.
Through the summertime months at Big Brook Lake highs are ordinarily in the 70's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 10's, and night lows in the-10's for Big Brook Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are fine; Petes Pond is a lake that's right next door to Big Brook Lake. There's so much to do here at Big Brook Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Little Black Check Point is a tremendous
 
               site for that. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Big Brook Lake. Take a hike on the Fox Brook Trail.
Get yourself into a kayak and hit Big Brook River, and you can have a delightful hiking adventure along the Island Pond Trail.
