Many people like to go to Big Brook Lake. There are pleasant locations to look at along the Island Pond Trail; you can stay the night at Lakeview Campgrounds. Summer at Big Brook Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. | | can camp at Little Black Check Point. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Fox Brook Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and get drenched paddling on Big Brook River. Big Brook Lake gets a normal amount of precipitation; August is the month that gets the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Musquacook Stream, and close by you find Dead Horse Gulch which is a great site to visit.
