Take a side spree to Plummer Brook, and if you came to camp Canal Bridge Campground is a splendid spot to do that. Berry Pond is a rather wet place commonly with a lot of rain; throughout November this area sees the most rain, and September is when it's the driest. Going for a hike along the Albany Brook Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and a day on the slopes of Shawnee Peak is just what you need.       This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Berry Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Lakeside Pines Campground is a good spot for that, and dry warm beds await you at Pleasant Mountain Inn. So many cool things to do at Berry Pond, so little time. The Albany Notch Trail is a tremendous hiking trail near Berry Pond; if you need a spot to stay Grady's West Shore Motel is a splendid choice. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Berry Pond,                  you'll hit upon Webber Pond which is a delightful lake, and the skiing at Mount Abram is fine. If the weather is good here at Berry Pond, you can go for a hike along the Albany Mountain Trail, and a golf course nearby is Bridgton Highlands Country Club. At Berry Pond through the summertime months highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are regularly in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Berry Pond temperatures plunge to the 0's.
