Now, you may feel that's lots but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Ben Gile Pond. Going for a hike on the Piazza Rock Trail is always a delightful adventure, and golf can be played at Evergreen Golf Club & Golf School. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Black Mountain. Really good skiing awaits you at Saddleback,       and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Blanchard Ponds. This is a good region for folks who like lakes. Cow Pond is a lake in the neighborhood, and Black Brook Cove Campground is a wonderful local campground. Throughout the summertime, highs usually are in the 70's at Ben Gile Pond, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 20's with temperatures at Ben Gile                  Pond dipping down into the-10's during winter nights. Ben Gile Pond gets a normal amount of rain; most of the rain falls through August, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful.
