    Ben Annis Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. From Ben Annis Pond you obtain a great vista of Hinkley Hill. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Ben Annis Pond; the wettest month of the year is usually November, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Pumpkin Patch Recreational Vehicle Resort is always a  
   glorious experience, and the fine people of Bangor like to hang out close by.
Some of the water close by flows, like Patten Stream, and get your heart pumping on the wonderful whitewater of Kenduskeag Stream. During the summertime here at Ben Annis Pond, high temperatures regularly reach the 70's, and the nighttime is a bit chillier of course, usually in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; nighttime lows throughout the wintertime for Ben Annis
 
               Pond tend to be in the 0's. New Hermon Mountain is a very popular ski area close at hand, and dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Bangor.

Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Souadabscook Stream; why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Hampden Country Club.
