Bell Pond is always a pleasure to visit. You simply should stop at Inscription Rock while you're here at Bell Pond, and Roaring Brook Campground is a great campground nearby. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Bell Pond; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is February. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sandy Stream, and if you need a spot to stay Katahdin Inn is a good choice.

Going for a hike on the Howe is always a great adventure, and Nesowadnehunk Stream River is a good whitewater spot close by. Throughout the months of summer, highs regularly are in the 70's at Bell Pond while nighttime lows are typically in the 50's. is so wonderful. A short journey to Grand Falls is always worthwhile, and some nearby water includes Pogy Brook. The Wassataquoik Tote Road is a great hiking trail in the neighborhood of Bell Pond, and there are other sites here
than Bell Pond, for example Upper South Branch Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Near Bell Pond you come across the South Branch Trail which is a splendid hiking trail, and if you came for an overnight stay South Branch Pond Campground is a glorious place to camp.
