     There is a great hiking trail near Beaver Ponds called the Intake Trail; there's some flowing water nearby, Beaver Brook is a stream you can take a look at while here. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody close by loves skiing at Big Squaw, and you're probably keen on lakes, Frog Pond is one of those nearby. During the summer months highs here at Beaver Ponds reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime  
   this place gets highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Beaver Ponds throughout the winter commonly sink into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a nice choice.
There's whitewater on Penobscot River - West Branch for all you thrill seekers; as expected, this is a pleasant neighborhood for people who like lakes, Big Duck Pond is a lake close by. The amount of rainfall that falls at Beaver Ponds is close to the
 
               national average; the month with most of the rain is July, and the driest month is February. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Moose River. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Beaver Ponds has to offer, you can camp at Caseys Spencer Bay Campground.
That right there is a lot already, but it carries on; Beaver Ponds has it all. Near Beaver Ponds you discover the Big Squaw Mountain Trail which is a good hiking trail. There's so much to do here at Beaver Ponds that you need to camp here for a while, Seboomook wilderness Campground is a good spot for that. Going for a hike on the Big Spencer Mountain Trail is always a nice adventure; the summit of Little Kineo Mountain can be made out from Beaver Ponds.

This is the web site for Seboomoook Wilderness Campground. Yes they are still there and it's still beautiful! Their phone number is at their web site. They have a new email address but I don't know what it is....
My family and I have been to seboomook campground for the last 7 years, Its beautiful, friendly and a great place to spend some time. When planning this years trip I have discovered that I cannot get to the web page,(when going to that page a porno site comes up) and the number I had made reservations on for the last 7 years is not in service. I dont understand this?...Is it still there???...
