There is a great hiking trail near Beaver Ponds called the Intake Trail; there's some flowing water nearby, Beaver Brook is a stream you can take a look at while here. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody close by loves skiing at Big Squaw, and you're probably keen on lakes, Frog Pond is one of those nearby. During the summer months highs here at Beaver Ponds reach the 70's. national average; the month with most of the rain is July, and the driest month is February. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Moose River. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Beaver Ponds has to offer, you
can camp at Caseys Spencer Bay Campground. That right there is a lot already, but it carries on; Beaver Ponds has it all. Near Beaver Ponds you discover the Big Squaw Mountain Trail which is a good hiking trail. There's so much
to do here at Beaver Ponds that you need to camp here for a while, Seboomook wilderness Campground is a good spot for that. Going for a hike on the Big Spencer Mountain Trail is always a nice adventure; the summit of Little Kineo Mountain can be made out from Beaver Ponds.
