     You can run the rapids of Northern Inlet in the vicinity of Beaver Pond, and not far from Beaver Pond you'll come across Love Lake which is a gorgeous lake. There's whitewater on East Machias River for all you adrenaline junkies; there are other spots here than Beaver Pond, for example Barrows Lake. You clearly must love Beaver Pond. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Beaver Pond has to offer, you can camp at Chet's Camps. Stay the night at  
   Big Lake Campground, and a visit to Roosevelt Campobello International Park is recommended.
The high level of rain makes Beaver Pond a rather wet location; most of the rain falls through November, and June is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. You are right next door to Great Pine Point while you're here at Beaver Pond, and don't forget to take a good little journey to Barrows Stream. All through the summertime months here at Beaver
 
               Pond, high temperatures commonly get into the 70's, and the night is fairly chillier of course, typically in the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are generally in the 20's with temperatures at Beaver Pond dipping down into the 0's through winter nights.

Clifford Lake is very isolated . You can get their via route 9 or Route 1 in Princeton. I would recommend a recent typo map and asking plenty of guestions from the locals. There is a small camping area. My last trip there (92) I had a truck and it was needed to traverse one road that comes to mind. The fishing was excellent ( pickerel averaged 20 in.) . Hunting in that area was, should I say, productive . ...
