There's whitewater on East Machias River for all you adrenaline junkies; there are other spots here than Beaver Pond, for example Barrows Lake. You clearly must love Beaver Pond. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Beaver Pond has to offer, you can camp at Chet's Camps. Stay the night at       Big Lake Campground, and a visit to Roosevelt Campobello International Park is recommended. The high level of rain makes Beaver Pond a rather wet location; most of the rain falls through November, and June is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. You are right next door to Great Pine Point while you're here at Beaver Pond, and don't forget to take a good little journey to Barrows Stream. All through the summertime months here at Beaver                  Pond, high temperatures commonly get into the 70's, and the night is fairly chillier of course, typically in the 50's.
