    Beaver Pond is a lake worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Woody's Campground and Cottages is always a good experience, and there are other places here than Beaver Pond, for example Trickey Ponds. Alder Pond is a brilliant lake in the vicinity of Beaver Pond; if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Alder Brook Trail. If you came to camp Old Mill Camping Area is a great location to do that, and nearby you find the Sally  
   Mountain Trail which is a delightful hiking trail.
From a precipitation point of view Beaver Pond is a rather typical spot; July is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. There are some great whitewater spots on Penobscot River - South Branch, and the Bald Mountain Trail is a brilliant hiking trail close by. For the period of the warm days of summer, highs mostly are in the 70's at Beaver Pond. For the duration of the moonlight hours
 
               it's regularly in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 20's with temperatures at Beaver Pond dipping down into the-10's through winter nights.
That right there is plenty already, but it carries on; Beaver Pond has it all. If you need a place to stay Bingham Motor Inn is a magnificent choice.
