This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Crocker Pond is near Beaver Pond, and get covered with water paddling on Moose River - South Branch. So much entertaining stuff in the vicinity of Beaver Pond, simply mind-blowing. Crocker Pond Dam is not far at all from Beaver Pond, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Penobscot       River - South Branch. Going for a hike on the Sally Mountain Trail is always a delightful adventure, and do stop at Stony Brook while you're here at Beaver Pond. Beaver Pond gets a common amount of annual rain; the wettest month of the year is frequently July, that's the one that rains the most, and February is when it's the driest. Why not camp at Jackman Landing Campground while you're here at Beaver Pond, and needless to say, this is a wonderful region                  for people who like lakes, Smith Pond is a lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Herbert Grand Hotel is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two; there are good spots to explore along the Bald Mountain Trail. At Beaver Pond throughout the summer months highs are in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's.
