Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! Beaver Pond is unbeatable! Good hiking is available along the Gulf Hagas Trail, and you'll come across a beautiful lake called Camp Pond. This lake is so wonderful. The snow is great at Big Squaw, and here at Beaver Pond you can see Chairback Mountain. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Beaver Pond. Once       the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are typically in the 20's, and night lows in the-10's for Beaver Pond. A great nearby hotel is Lodge at Moosehead Lake, and you can run the rapids of Ship Pond Stream. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Beaver Pond has to offer, you can camp at Jo-mary Lake Campground, and get your heart beating on the splendid whitewater of Pleasant River - West Branch. Hiking is                  a popular thing to do around Beaver Pond; Auburn Log Hauling Road is a wonderful local trail, and swamps like Caribou Bog are fun to explore. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Northwest Ridge Road, and Pittsfield Motor Inn is a delightful spot to get some rest.
