Don't leave Beaver Pond without first going for a hike along the Albany Mountain Trail, and Moose Pond Dam is a site that is right next door to Beaver Pond. And if that's not enough, there's plenty more to do in the vicinity of Beaver Pond. If you need a       location to stay Oxford House Inn is a splendid choice; enjoy a round of golf at Bridgton Highlands Country Club. For the duration of the warm months at Beaver Pond temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Beaver Pond dip into the 0's. Dry warm beds await you                  at Pleasant Mountain Inn, and Lakeside Pines Campground is a good local campground. Lakes are such calm spots, why not have a look at Little Pond in the neighborhood of Beaver Pond, and there's whitewater on Crooked River for all you adrenaline junkies. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Albany Brook Trail, and why not head up to King Pine and strap some skis to your feet. Going for a hike on the Province Brook Trail is always a great adventure; Shawnee Peak is a very popular ski area in the vicinity. Beaver Pond is a pretty wet place regularly with a lot of precipitation; during November this area sees the most rain while September is ordinarily the driest month.
