    The beauty of Beaver Pond is reason enough to stop by. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Shawnee Peak. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Crooked River, and the vista of Pickett Hill is charming. Beaver Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is frequently November, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is September.
 
   Lakes are great; Tenmile Pond is a lake that's in close proximity to Beaver Pond, and if you need a site to stay Oxford House Inn is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. The snow is perfect at King Pine; Bridgton Highlands Country Club is a great golf course close by. A splendid place for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Beaver Pond is Ossipee River, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Province Brook Trail.

               so wonderful. Stay the night at River Run Canoe Rental and Camping; dry warm beds await you at Pleasant Mountain Inn. The Albany Mountain Trail is a fine hiking trail near Beaver Pond, and there's always Moose Pond Dam to explore right next door to Beaver Pond. Now, you may believe that's a lot but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Beaver Pond. On a delightful day at Beaver Pond you can take a hike along the Albany Brook Trail; Lakeside Pines Campground is a fine campground nearby.
High temperatures at Beaver Pond through the warmest time of the year are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's; night lows through the wintertime for Beaver Pond tend to be in the 0's.
