What would winter be without some skiing at Saddleback. Beaver Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is February. For the period of the summertime months highs here at Beaver Pond get into the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with       winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Beaver Pond. In case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Dead River - North Branch, and there's always Beaver Pond Dam to have a look at near Beaver Pond. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a pleasant time here at Beaver Pond. Kennebago River is a glorious whitewater spot near Beaver Pond, and Cupsuptic Campground is a splendid campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Secret Pond is                  a nearby lake that you could go to, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Beaver Pond; Morrell Trail is a great local trail.
