This lake is so wonderful. You'll stumble on a picturesque lake called Mud Pond near Beaver Pond; don't leave Beaver Pond without first going for a hike along the Bemis Stream Trail. You definitely ought to like the White Mountains. Saddleback is a perfect local ski area, and camping is available at Black Brook Cove Campground. The bridge in New Sharon is by far the largest waves just under the bridge. Tired arms went through that at the near end of day. The water after that is fast for about an hour after that.
