     If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the White Mountains. There are other places here than Beaver Pond, for example Round Pond, and going for a hike on the Bemis Trail is always a nice adventure. The top of Brimstone Mountain is easily made out from Beaver Pond, and if you came to camp Coos Canyon Cabins and Campground is a great spot to do that. If you need a spot to stay Grand Summit Resort Sunday River is a splendid choice.
 
   Beaver Pond is located in the White Mountains. Beaver Pond gets a common amount of yearly precipitation; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Beaver Pond. Lakes? Sure, Spencer Pond is close by, and there's whitewater on Swift River for all you adrenaline rush seekers.
This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at The Perennial
 
               Inn, and there are some good whitewater spots on Black Brook. This lake is so wonderful. Take a little journey to Mountain Brook since you're here at Beaver Pond; there is a tremendous hiking trail close by called the Angel Falls Trail. Yep, outdoors fun things truly is abundant here in the White Mountains. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Black Mountain is close to Beaver Pond, and camping at Black Brook Cove Campground is always a splendid experience.
The skiing at Saddleback is delightful, and close by you come across the Bemis Stream Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Beaver Pond. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while Beaver Pond overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the-10's.

Today I finished a kayak trip from Strong, Maine and took out at Osoola Park in Norridgewock. It took a day and three quarters. The bridge in New Sharon is by far  the largest waves just under the bridge. Tired arms went through that at the near end of day. The water after that is fast for about an hour after that. Need to pay attention....

We stayed at South Arm campground and paddled the lake every day. One night we rented a wilderness site and tented from canoes. We also drove down the road and hiked out and back on the AT.
