If you are traveling by, why not stop by Beaver Pond. That right there is plenty already, but it goes on; Beaver Pond has it all. The Elms Bed and Breakfast is a wonderful place to get some rest, also Saccarappa Dam is worth going to since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Wassamki Springs; you can hit the slopes at Lost Valley around here. Deer Hill can be observed from Beaver Pond; let's not forget Beaver Pond Brook which is a stream

Put some time aside to spend at Saccarappa Falls while you're here at Beaver Pond, and at Beaver Pond you always meet someone from Portland-South Portland. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Chandler Brook for all you adrenaline people. Lakes? Sure, Haskell Pond is close at hand.

here. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Royal River, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SOUTH PORTLAND is a splendid place to spend a night or two. Beaver Pond
sees pretty high levels of rain; November is the wettest month with most rain, and August is when it's the driest.
Throughout the months of summer at Beaver Pond highs are typically in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures
plunge down into the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are usually in the 30's, and night lows at Beaver Pond through the wintertime regularly sink into the 0's.
