If you like lakes and you're in this part of Maine you can check out Beaver Pond. Go for a hike on the Webster Brook Tote Road. The amount of rainfall that falls at Beaver Pond is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is commonly August, that's the one that rains the most, and February is when it's the driest. Libby's Sporting Camps is a nice local campground; why not a little side trip to Blacksmith Brook. Whitewater paddling is delightful

Get dripping wet paddling on Squa Pan Stream; if you came for an overnight stay Waters Edge RV Resort is a good spot to camp. Throughout the long summer days highs here at Beaver Pond get into the 70's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Beaver Pond.
