Don't leave Beaver Dam Pond without first checking out Cadillac Cliffs,       and as expected Bear Brook is a beautiful stream that is worth taking a look at. Be careful coming to Beaver Dam Pond, you might not ever wanna go home again. Sand Beach is near Beaver Dam Pond if you're in a beach type of mood, and a great place to stop by nearby is Cromwell Harbor Ledge. This lake is so wonderful. Get your pulse rate up on the brilliant whitewater of Union River. Lakes are perfect; The Bowl is a lake that's right next door to Beaver Dam                  Pond; why not camp at Hadley's Point Campground while you're here at Beaver Dam Pond. Beaver Dam Pond typically gets a large amount of rainfall; most of the rain falls during November, and the driest of the months is August. Bar Harbor is pretty in close proximity to Beaver Dam Pond, and on a beautiful day you obtain a good vista of The Beehive from Beaver Dam Pond. The Chiltern Inn is a good place to get some rest, and there are swamps here too, Great Meadow is in the vicinity. A perfect spot to camp here at Beaver Dam Pond is Mt. Desert Narrows Camping Resort, and do take a hike on the Champlain Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Beaver Dam Pond without first paying a visit to Sieur de Monts Spring; the Bear Brook Trail offers hiking at its best. High temperatures at Beaver Dam Pond all through the summer are in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. All through the winter highs are frequently in the 30's, and overnight lows at Beaver Dam Pond through the winter usually dip into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
