Beautiful Beaver Dam Pond has much to offer visitors. Camping at Mt. Desert Narrows Camping Resort is always a great experience, and Bar Harbor is close at hand and always brilliant to check out. The high level of rain makes Beaver Dam Pond a pretty wet site; November is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is August. This lake is so wonderful.

The summit of The Beehive can be distinguished from Beaver Dam Pond, and a fine beach close by is Hunters Beach.

A short spree to Sieur de Monts Spring is always worthwhile, and after a long day outdoors Arcadia Suites is a great site to spend a night or two. Near Beaver Dam Pond you find the Bear Brook Trail
which is a perfect hiking trail; swamps like Great Meadow are fun to explore. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a look at The Tarn Dam while you're here, and why not take a little tour to Bear Brook while you're here.
Summer
brings highs in the 70's to Beaver Dam Pond, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Beaver Dam Pond drop into the 10's.
