There's so much to do here at Beattie Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Cathedral Pines Camping Area is a great spot for that. Good hiking is available along the Morrell Trail; if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Moose River - South Branch. Don't leave Beattie Pond without first going for a hike along the Arnold Pond Trail, and don't forget to take       a delightful little visit to Boundary Brook. A charming lake like Sipun Pond in the neighborhood of Beattie Pond is a great place to have a look at, and from Beattie Pond you get a fine vista of Caswell Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime highs at Beattie Pond ordinarily tend to be in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's; night lows through the wintertime for Beattie                  Pond tend to be in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Beattie Pond; Arnold Trail is a great local trail, and if you came to camp Black Arrow Lodge is a fine place to do that.
