    It's always fun to stop by Bearce Lake. You can run the rapids of Dennys River near Bearce Lake, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not stop by Bearce Flowage. From Bearce Lake you acquire a magnificent panorama of Porcupine Mountain, and a pretty lake like Conic Lake is a wonderful place to visit. Why not stop by Bearce Flowage Dam while you're here; Bearce Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Cobscook Bay State Park is a tremendous  
   local campground.
Bearce Lake is a wet place that gets much rain; through the month of November you get the most rain around here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. But wait, there's more to do close to Bearce Lake. Roosevelt Campobello International Park is a pleasant local destination here at Bearce Lake. For the duration of the summer at Bearce Lake highs are usually in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's
 
               frequently in the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are regularly in the 20's with temperatures at Bearce Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights.
This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on St. Croix River for all you adrenaline junkies, and if you came to camp Chet's Camps is a glorious site to do that.
