There's so much to do here at Bear Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Seboomook wilderness Campground is a splendid site for that; you can run the rapids of Penobscot River - West Branch. Bear Pond gets a common amount of annual rainfall; July is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. Bear Brook is a nice spot to visit; Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a brilliant place to get some rest. During

| | the months of summer, highs usually are in the 70's at Bear Pond. Summer night lows drop down to the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's; nighttime lows in the-10's for Bear Pond. While you're here at Bear Pond, you could also stop by pretty Bear Brook Bog. McDougal Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and a wonderful location for whitewater paddling is Caucomgomoc Stream. | |

Their phone number is at their web site. They have a new email address but I don't know what it is....My family and I have been to seboomook campground for the last 7 years, Its beautiful, friendly and a great place to spend some time. When planning this years trip I have discovered that I cannot get to the web page,(when going to that page a porno site comes up) and the number I had made reservations on for the last 7 years is not in service. I dont understand this?...Is it still there???... |
