Stay the night at Chimney Pond Campground, and you'll come across a scenic lake called Rainbow Lake. At Bear Pond throughout the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are regularly in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Bear Pond plunge into the-10's. If you need a location to stay Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. is a great place to camp nearby. Bear Pond gets a typical amount of precipitation; through July this area sees the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. If the weather is perfect here at Bear Pond, you can go for a hike
along the Abol Trail, and hey, Gotta ski right? Big Squaw is a good location to do that. Hiking along the Blue Trail is glorious fun, and some of the water close by flows, like Bean Brook. You completely have to go for Bear Pond.
A pretty lake like Murphy Ponds near Bear Pond is a nice place to stop by, and there's whitewater on Nahmakanta Stream for all you adrenaline rush seekers.
