Bear Pond gets a typical amount of rainfall; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. And if you're still looking for more outdoors cool things just keep reading. Ragged Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at; Pleasant River - West Branch       is a good whitewater spot close by. A day on the slopes of Big Squaw is just what you need, and the Number Four Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Hinckley Cove is rather near Bear Pond; in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Roach River. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Big Spencer Mountain Trail; Casey's Spencer Bay Campground is a good local campground. This lake is so                  wonderful. If you need a place to stay Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a great choice, and Bear Pond is right by the Gulf Hagas Trail. During the summertime months at Bear Pond highs are mostly in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's.
