     Stay the night at Bear Pond Campground Fun Park; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Sandy River. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Nezinscot River offers some great whitewater; you'll find a pretty lake called Little Bear Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Wilson Lake Inn is a good choice, and a day on the slopes of Titcomb is just what you need.
For the
 
   duration of the warm months here at Bear Pond, high temperatures generally reach the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's while Bear Pond nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do in close proximity to Bear Pond. At Bear Pond you can distinguish Bear Mountain, and let's not forget Hayford  
               Brook which is a stream that you may encounter during your stay. Head up to Lost Valley and strap some skis to your feet; the scenery at Old Mill Bulkhead Dam is picturesque.
Dry warm beds await you at Residence Inn Auburn, and Bear Pond is a place with many visitors from Lewiston-Auburn. The high level of rainfall makes Bear Pond a rather wet place; November is the month that gets the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Do pop by Brettuns Pond close to Bear Pond, it's a pretty lake. There's so much to do here at Bear Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Martin Stream Campsite is a nice place for that.
