Upper Lead Mountain Pond is a great lake in the vicinity of Bear Pond, and hiking along the Lead Mountain Trail is tremendous fun. If you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Narraguagus River, and Lead Mountain is gorgeous and can be observed from here. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a glorious time here at Bear Pond. Sea Breeze Motel is a magnificent place to get some rest, and Narraguagus       River - West Branch has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Getting to Bobcat Brook from Bear Pond is simple, and why not camp at Mountainview Campground while you're here at Bear Pond. Going for a hike along the Eagle Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and a perfect location to camp here at Bear Pond is Eastbrook Campground. High temperatures at Bear Pond during the summertime months are                  in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Bear Pond are in the 0's.
